BLENDING WITH CHEF FAT: SMOOTHIES
I’ve started to replace some of my dinners with smoothies, and I think I got it down pat now. I have a Magic Bullet and it was kinda weak at first, but there’s definitely a formula to this, and here it is.
1/2 cup of juice
Couple of spoonfuls of sorbet
4 spoonfuls of yogurt
2 spoonfuls of canned crushed pineapples or other fruit
Lots of frozen fruit
Blend without abandon, and when you’re done, add another splash of juice to make it more liquidy and stuff. I also add fish oil and some weird fiber crap, but you don’t taste it when it’s mixed in.
