I’m not convinced one way or another on this military/civilian trial debate, but the idea of people who don’t live anywhere near NY deciding on what we should be threatened by is rich.
Either way, we’re fucking ready. More than anything, people want SOMETHING to exist at WTC. We’re not afraid that the existence of something will attract terrorists, because there’s no point to the fear. We have to go on living. Awareness? Fine. Constant crapping of pants? No.
It was nice that everyone talked about how they were impressed by the resilience of New Yorkers, but it seems like empty talk now.
