That’s not a safe choice for VP but it could have been worse. Romney will sell him as a jobs/budget wonk and hope he doesn’t say anything that terrifies old people. Didn’t think Ryan would want to be the wing man.
It’s not Palin because he’s not a woman and he’s less gaffe prone. Interested in seeing how his favorability ratings develop. I have a hunch that the average voter isn’t swayed by Ryan yet, depends on how the campaigns sell him.
